We believe that the blueprint for the future is linked by three
golden threads: whole life, real wealth and inclusive
communities.

Looking at people's whole life is essential if
everyone, particularly the most marginalised in our society, are to
feel that their individual circumstances and requirements are fully
recognised. Family relationships and experiences also play a vital
role in thiw 'whole-person' approach.
We want to pave the way for a permanent shift in power to
citizens and to support people to make the most of their
'real wealth'. Many things - alongside money - can
help people feel rich and valued. Real wealth can also be found in
friends and family connections, access to advice and information,
individual talents and skills, and people's personal sense of
strength and resilience. We need to harness all of these resources
to help promote greater choice and promote new, constructive ways
of doing things.
We believe that the ability to feel part of - and contribute to
- a community is a fundamental right. Everyone has
something important to offer, however big or small, and we know
that profound changes can happen when ordinary people take the
initiative. Through the development of our new practical tools such
as community fund holding, there are great opportunities to equip
people with the knowledge and power they need to take genuine
responsibility for their own lives.
