in Control Scotland
In Control Scotland originated as a partnership between Altrum and the Scottish Consortium for Learning Disability who came together in 2006 to promote the In Control approach and system of self directed support in Scotland.
In April 2009, In Control Scotland was formally constituted as an independent organisation, linked to developments elsewhere as part of in Control International. We are currently seeking charitable status. In November 2009, a reception was held in the Scottish Parliament to celebrate the establishment of in Control Scotland.
