Kindred Spirits brings family members together with
professionals from social services, health services, education and
leisure to help people work towards desirable futures for disabled
children.
Course Aims
The course aims to build new alliances that can make effective
partnerships between families, individuals and professionals to
advocate and campaign for a better future for vulnerable people in
our society.
How the course is delivered
The course consists of five sessions. Sessions take place every

After the initial five sessions all the course participants come
together to reflect on the course and to develop an action plan for

are made up of people who work in education, health and social
services, and parents of disabled children.
When we use the term disabled, we are including people with
learning difficulties, people, with sensory impairments and people
with physical impairments.
