When your social worker agrees your plan, you get your personal
budget.
There are two ways to look after the money:
- you can get the money yourself as a direct payment
- you can choose someone to look after the money for you
You can even do a bit of both.
The Mental Capacity Act says that some people need a Deputy or
an Attorney. You can find out more about these from the Office of
