NICE Guidance Development Group members needed

The NICE Collaborating Centre for Social Care (NCCSC), hosted by SCIE, has been commissioned by NICE to produce guidance on older people with long-term conditions living in their own homes or in residential care.

They are currently recruiting members for the Guidance Development Group. The NCCSC are looking for people with a professional interest in the topic such as:

  • Older people and carers who have used or are using social care services
  • Researchers with a specific interest in social care and support for older people
  • Social care providers and social care staff
  • Local authority staff/managers who are involved in care planning and commissioning social care and support for older people
  • Health staff
  • People who work in a national body with an interest in social care for older people
  • People with knowledge and experience of the learning, development and support of the social care workforce.

The deadline for applications is Tuesday 12th November at 5pm.
