New SEND implementation pack for local authorities and partners

An updated implementation pack for local authorities has been released and In Control welcomes the definition of personal budgets within the pack.

The pack gives advice to local authorities and health partners about implementing the 0 to 25 special needs system from September 2014.

Building on the previous set of documents, released in April, this pack sets out how local authorities and their partners will want to phase implementation of the reforms and it contains the most up to date lines on transition planning for those with statements, LDAs and School Action/ School Action Plus and equivalents.

The pack can be accessed here
