Caroline Tomlinson nominated for Guardian public servant award

Our very own Caroline Tomlinson has been shortlisted for the prestigious Guardian public servant of the year award.

She is one of five people nominated for the award and members of the public have been asked to vote for who they think is most deserving of the award.

Caroline was nominated because of how she has helped turn the challenges of having an disabled child into an opportunity and how she has tirelessly helped other families to gain choice and control for their loved ones.

You can read more about Caroline in the personal stories section of our website.

The winner will be invited to an awards ceremony to be held on the 22 November in London.
