Initially,
the in Control project
operated only in England. Throughout
2006, however, the two founding members
of
in Control Scotland
- ALTRUM and the Scottish
Consortium for Learning Disability -
worked together to try to get in Control
established in Scotland.
At the close of the year, with the help of a grant from the Scottish Executive, this work bore fruit, and since 4 December 2006 in Control Scotland has been up and running and open for business.
