In Control runs a variety of events throughout the year on both
a national and local level and online, including a series of
popular free webinars.
Our events are unique as they bring together experts by
profession, with family members and individuals who are experts by
experience. This allows participants to better explore how things
are working in reality and helps to improve on and develop
relationships between professionals and individuals. For all events
we also aim to bring together different departments and agencies -
such as adult social care, children's services and health - to
ensure a focus on people's 'whole lives'.
Since 2008, more than 8,000 people attended our
events.
