There is now an extensive In Control international
community working together to share learning on self-directed
support.
In Control now operates in the following countries:
- Scotland
- Wales
- Australia
- New Zealand
- Tasmania
- Czech Republic
- USA
- Italy
- Russia
- Finland
In each of these countries, In Control operates as individual
organisations, independent of In Control England. All have
signed up to In Control's ethics and are committed to:
- acting as a place of reference, sharing information and raising
awareness
- offering critical reflection
- encouraging dialogue and exchange between international
communities
- collaborating on work
- encouraging leadership and international influence
Representatives from each In Control organisation meet regularly
to update each other on developments and further developments.
