There's no doubt that our care and support systems are in
need of major reform. With significant resource constraints and
demographic growth, there are major challenges ahead.
Making the changes that are now needed requires real and active
engagement by everyone and a new conversation which is driven by
people and the outcomes they want to secure for themselves.
Our Vision for 2020 encompasses a fundamental shift in practice
and attitudes to shape communities where people of all ages feel
empowered to take control of their lives. The blueprint for the
future is linked by three golden threads: whole life, real wealth and inclusive
communities.
